Staffing Resources in Atlanta GA set up 20 prospects for an intensive marketing campaign. Each prospect was scheduled to receive five direct mailers, one card every other day. The mailers featured large fruit and vegetables with clever messages about the benefits of temporary staffing. They also included a perforated recipe that coordinated with the featured food.
Next, management made and brought in each of the featured recipes to be “taste-tested” by the staff. This helped get staff excited about the program and allowed everyone to attest to how good the recipes are.
After mailing all five cards, sales staff called prospects directly asking if they had received the messages. Tasting the recipes also gave staff a nice talking point to use when making these follow-up calls. Ultimately, sales people asked for an appointment to tell them more about the company.
